QUESTIONS ASKED FREQUENTLY

Where is the wedding?

The wedding and reception are in one location: Red Barn Gardens in Williston, Vermont. Our ceremony will be outside in a grassy field, and our reception will be in the greenhouse! We hope you enjoy spending time there as much as we do. The venue is right outside Burlington, and only 15 minutes from the airport.

What is the schedule for the day?

Folks can start arriving at the venue at 4:00pm. We will have our ceremony at 4:30pm, cocktail hour at 5:00pm, and dinner and dancing beginning at 6:00pm. The venue shuts down at 10pm.

What’s for dinner?

We’ll be blessed with the American Flatbread Mobile Oven! Flatbreads to suit all palates and salad, all made with local, in-season ingredients. When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any specific food needs.

Any COVID precautions?

We ask that all attendees be vaccinated and boosted. We will reach out before the event if there are any updates based on the situation in September.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire. In other words, please dress nicely! We recommend wearing flat shoes, wedges, or block heels to be well-equipped for the grassy landscape. And bring a layer– the weather can be unpredictable in VT.

Can I bring kids?

We ask that only folks in our wedding party bring children to this event. We want the rest of you to feel free to enjoy a night of debauchery or gentle swaying—whatever’s more your speed.

Will you be providing transportation to/from the venue?

No, but there is a TON of parking. There will be signs pointing you to a large grassy parking area just past the venue. Additionally, there are a couple parking spots directly in front of the venue (the horseshoe shaped driveway) for folks who need them. Uber and Lyft should also be available in the area. You can also leave your vehicle overnight if you need a safe ride home. Above all else, please be safe!

What phase will the moon be in that night?

It will be a full moon, thanks for asking.

Where can we stay?

We have booked hotel blocks for guests traveling from out of town. Check out the Lodging page!
