Jenna and Bryan met the way most millennials do: while working a second job. Bryan was already working part-time as a sound guy at the Vermont Comedy Club when Jenna started as a waitress. They quickly became friends, coworkers and comedy collaborators. After about a year, they decided there might be a bit more to the story, so they decided to go out on a fancy date (Buffalo Wild Wings). Unlike the spicy boneless wings they shared, their love was a slow burn. Another year later, they moved in together.
Jenna convinced Bryan to join her in a volunteer effort to plant trees, promising that it would only last an hour or so. Five hours later, exhausted and covered in dirt, Bryan decided it was still a pretty decent day for a major life change. With planting new roots still in mind, Bryan took Jenna to Honey Hollow, one of their favorite waterfalls. After nervously shuffling about for 20 minutes or so, he got down and presented Jenna with a ring he inherited from his great grandmother. Jenna didn't say yes, per se, but she cried, which we both took for yes.
